Zahra Raisi-Estabragh

Dr. Zahra Raisi-Estabragh is a Senior Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Queen Mary University of London and St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Her research focuses on big data epidemiology, cardiovascular magnetic resonance, and cardio-oncology, with expertise in integrating large-scale imaging data into population health studies. She co-leads the Healthy Hearts Consortium and is part of the ORFAN consortium.

Dr. Raisi-Estabragh has been recognized with the Royal Society of Medicine Cardiology President’s Gold Medal (2021) and the Alfred Thomas Corrie Prize (2022). She holds editorial roles for the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, BMC Cardio-Oncology, and the European Heart Journal of Imaging Methods and Practice.

Her research team includes PhD students and post-doctoral researchers focused on cardiovascular imaging, epidemiology, and oncology. Key sponsors include the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), Barts Charity, and the British Heart Foundation.
