Yvonne M Tew is the Anne Fleming Research Professor and Professor of Law at Georgetown University, where she also serves as Faculty Director of the Center for Transnational Legal Studies. Her expertise spans constitutional law, comparative constitutionalism, and law-religion intersections, with regional focus on Asian legal systems.
Her scholarship examines constitutional statecraft, judicial empowerment, and amendment challenges in Malaysia and globally. Recent work analyzes core constitutional provisions, strategic judicial behavior, and unconstitutional amendments. Tew holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge and LL.M. from Harvard.
