Yuvraj Joshi is an Associate Professor of Law and Dean’s Research Scholar at Brooklyn Law School. He specializes in constitutional law, racial equality, human rights, and gender/sexuality law. His research has been published in leading journals such as the University of Chicago Law Review and Columbia Law Review, and he has received accolades from the Association of American Law Schools and the Canadian Association of Law Teachers. Professor Joshi teaches courses including Constitutional Law and Law & Inequality, and has organized high-profile symposia on racial justice. He holds a J.S.D. from Yale Law School and has held fellowships at Harvard and UC Berkeley. His work bridges legal theory and practice, addressing systemic inequalities and transitional justice mechanisms.
Education: J.S.D. and LL.M. (Yale Law School), LL.B. (University College London), B.A. (University of Toronto). Affiliations include the UCLA Promise Institute for Human Rights and UC Berkeley’s Miller Institute for Global Challenges. He previously taught at the University of British Columbia and practiced law with Linklaters LLP in Europe.
