Cara McClellan is the Founding Director of the Advocacy for Racial and Civil (ARC) Justice Clinic and a Clinical Associate Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Her work focuses on civil rights litigation and policy advocacy addressing systemic racism, education equity, and criminal justice reform. Prior to this role, she served as Assistant Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, litigating cases such as I.S. et al. v. Binghamton School District (challenging discriminatory school policies) and Smith v. City of Philadelphia (addressing police use of military-style weapons).
