Yusi Ma is an Assistant Professor in the Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship & Information Systems at Louisiana State University. She holds a PhD in Management Information Systems from Florida International University.
Her research explores critical technology challenges, with emphasis on:
- Ethics and risks in artificial intelligence (fairness, misuse)
- Cybersecurity threats and defense mechanisms
- Human factors in system design (Human-Computer Interaction)
She teaches courses including Information Systems Security, Business Telecommunication Systems, and Business Analytics. Her work appears in leading journals like MIS Quarterly and conferences such as AMCIS.
