Yulia Yamineva

Yulia Yamineva is an Associate Professor at the Law School of the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies. Her expertise lies in international climate law and policy, with a focus on climate governance, mitigation strategies, and the science-policy interface. She co-directs the Master’s Programme in Environmental Policy and Law and leads the UEF-UNEP Course on Multilateral Environmental Agreements.

**Research Interests:** Yamineva’s interdisciplinary work spans climate law, environmental policy, and atmospheric science collaboration. Key themes include short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), climate tipping points, and international climate negotiations. She has contributed to high-impact platforms like Nature Climate Change and co-edited volumes on SLCP governance.
