Yuji Winet is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. His research explores consumer decision-making dynamics, particularly how novelty/familiarity tradeoffs, social environments, and perceptions of change shape behavior. He holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral Science from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Post-baccalaureate in Psychology from UC Berkeley, and a B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz.
Research interests focus on consumer behavior mechanisms such as experiential consumption optimization, hidden social influences in decision-making, and the role of timing/sequences in behavioral outcomes.
