Ysolde Gendreau is a Professor at the Faculty of Law, Université de Montréal, specializing in intellectual property law, copyright, and international/comparative law. She holds a Doctorate in Law from Université de Paris II (1992), an LL.M. from McGill University (1988), and a B.C.L. and LL.B. from McGill (1983-1984). Her research focuses on copyright dynamics in digital environments, international IP harmonization, and moral rights. She has taught at McGill, Paris II, Paris XII, Nantes, Strasbourg III, Lyon 2, and Monash (Australia), and participated in summer programs at Victoria, Oxford, and San Diego (Florence).
