Noura Karazivan is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Law, Université de Montréal, specializing in Canadian constitutional law, federalism, and democratic institutions. She holds a LL.D. from Université de Montréal (2012), LL.M. from Leiden University (2006), and B.C.L./LL.B. from McGill University (2003). An active researcher, she focuses on Canadian federalism, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, legal geography, and sub-state constitutionalism. She co-edits the Revue d’études constitutionnelles and chairs the Canadian chapter of ICON•S. Awards include the André Morel Prize (2019) and a SSHRC grant (2016–2021). Currently leads projects on the Supreme Court’s 150th anniversary and Quebec’s legal frameworks.
