Maxime St-Hilaire is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Law, Université de Sherbrooke. He holds a Doctorate in Law from Université Laval and serves as Director for French Canada at the Runnymede Society. His affiliations include the Scientific Council of the Institut de droit parlementaire et politique and an Associated Researcher role at the Centre for Constitutional Law and Legal Studies, University of British Columbia.

Recent Articles focus on constitutional derogation mechanisms, comparative electoral systems, global constitutionalism, and judicial interpretations of indigenous rights. These works bridge theoretical legal philosophy with practical constitutional challenges.
