Yoshitaka Sakata

Dr. Yoshitaka Sakata is an Associate Professor at Kanazawa University's College of Science and Engineering (since October 2021) and a former Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia's Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability (IRES). His research focuses on hydrogeology, groundwater engineering, and geothermal energy systems leveraging heat pump technology. He holds a PhD in Science from Hokkaido University (2013), followed by involvement in national research projects on geothermal applications.
