Thomas Baumann

Prof. Dr. Thomas Baumann is an Adjunct Professor at the Chair of Hydrogeology at Technische Universität München (TUM). He leads the Geofluids Research Group and focuses on sustainable groundwater management, geothermal energy systems, and hydrogeochemical processes. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing subsurface process modeling and environmental resource optimization.
