Dr. Li's research centers on Chinese film history, urban cinema, and media industry dynamics. Her scholarly contributions appear in journals such as Transnational Screens, Global Storytelling: Journal of Digital and Moving Images, and Chinese Literature Today, alongside book chapters in volumes including From Networks to Netflix: A Guide to Changing Channels and Film Marketing into the Twenty First Century. Her work demonstrates consistent engagement with transnational perspectives in Chinese cinema and evolving media landscapes.
