Tuo Li is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures at Columbia University. He is a writer, critic, and editor with significant contributions to Chinese literature, cinema, and art. His editorial work includes roles at influential journals such as Beijing Literature (1980s), Shijie (Horizons, 1990s–2000s), and currently Jintian (Today). He specializes in experimental literature and has authored essays on Chinese cultural production.
