Yonatan Hopp

Yonatan Hopp is an Associate Professor at the Industrial Design Faculty of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). His practice bridges industrial design and craft, focusing on ceramics and innovative production methods. He holds a BFA in Industrial Design from RISD and an MDes from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem.

His research explores intersections between industrial design and craft, emphasizing hands-on 'research-through-making.' Notable exhibitions include shows at the Israel Museum (Jerusalem), Gardiner Museum (Toronto), Museum of Art and Design (NYC), and Yingge Museum (Taipei). His work is part of major collections like the Israeli parliament and Jewish Museum (NYC).
