Professor Ying Zhou is a Professor of Human Resource Management and Director of the Future of Work Research Centre at the University of Surrey. She holds an MPhil and DPhil in Economic Sociology from the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on job quality, employee well-being, and occupational dynamics, with significant contributions to policy frameworks such as the OECD Job Quality Framework and EU policies. She has secured over £4.3 million in research grants from institutions like the ESRC and the European Foundation for Living and Working Conditions. Her work has influenced UK, French, and Welsh policies, and has been cited by international bodies including the OECD and European Commission.
