Marijana Baric is an Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), located in Cambridge. She holds a PhD in Business and Management from the University of Sheffield, alongside a BA (Dual Hons) in Management and Economics from the same institution, and a PG Cert in Education from Oxford Brookes University.
Her research focuses on fostering social value in organizational contexts, particularly in areas of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), employee wellbeing, and green behaviour. She employs qualitative methodologies, collaborating with institutions like the ESRC, Eurofound, and Marie Curie Industry Academic Partnerships. Her theoretical contributions span social exchange theory, psychological contracts, and organizational authenticity.
Recent publications address sustainability transitions, circular economy roles of accountants, crisis management dynamics, and the socio-economic impacts of sovereign wealth funds. Her work bridges academic theory with practical organizational challenges, emphasizing employee perspectives in policy implementation.
