Ying Li is a painter and educator serving as the Phlyssa Koshland Professor in Fine Arts at Haverford College since 1997. Born in Beijing, China, she studied traditional landscape painting at Anhui Teachers University (1974-1977) and later earned her MFA from Parsons School of Design after immigrating to the U.S. in 1983. Her work has been exhibited internationally in the U.S., Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, and France, with solo exhibitions at galleries like Gross McCleaf in Philadelphia.
