Yijia Zhao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting & Finance at the College of Management, University of Massachusetts Boston. She serves as the Graduate Program Director and focuses on research in financial intermediation, banking, corporate credit markets, securities issuance, and corporate finance.
Her research explores critical topics such as the impact of credit supply on corporate bond offerings, syndicated loan pricing, the role of sovereign wealth funds in debt markets, ethical misconduct among financial advisers, and the implications of shareholder litigation in corporate takeovers.
