Chengzhi “Lawrence” Zhao is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Rawls College of Business, Texas Tech University. He holds a PhD and MA in Finance from Rice University, alongside an MS in Economics and BBA in Finance and Mathematics from Baylor University. His research spans empirical corporate finance, household finance, financial intermediation, and competition in financial markets.
