Yftah Tal-Gan

Professor Yftah Tal-Gan is a faculty member at the University of Nevada, Reno, focusing on chemical biology and peptide chemistry to address biological challenges. His research targets quorum sensing pathways in Gram-positive bacteria for therapeutic applications, with a particular emphasis on Streptococcus species.

Professor Tal-Gan leads the Tal-Gan Research Group, which investigates the structural and functional aspects of bacterial communication peptides. His team develops synthetic strategies for peptidomimetics and studies their therapeutic potential in infectious diseases.
