Yeşim Müride Atamer serves as Professor and Chairholder for Private, Commercial, European and Comparative Law at the University of Zurich, with her office located at RAI F 007, Rämistrasse 74/63, 8001 Zürich. She leads academic operations and consultations by appointment through her administrative team.
Her research spans core legal domains including Private Law (contract and tort frameworks), Commercial Law (business regulations and transactions), European Law (EU integration and supranational jurisprudence), and Comparative Law (cross-jurisdictional legal analysis). These interconnected fields drive her scholarly contributions to harmonizing legal systems within European contexts.
The chair maintains an active support structure with eight assistants: Fabio Anceschi (Assistant since July 2025), Maurus Furger (Assistant), Géraldine Méliane Bär (Assistant since November 2024), Annika Bucheli (Assistant since April 2024), Muriel Erdin (Assistant since March 2025), Anna Picard (Assistant), Ben Tschigg (Assistant), and Sophia Zademack (Organizational Assistant).
