Prof. Dr. Yeşim M. Atamer is a Full Professor of Private, Commercial, and European Law at the University of Zurich's Faculty of Law, with expertise in Contract Law, European Contract Harmonization, and Consumer Law. She holds honorary doctorates and has served on prestigious councils like the CISG Advisory Council and the International Academy of Commercial and Consumer Law. Her research focuses on regulatory challenges in contract and consumer law, with contributions to EU directives and Swiss legal reforms. She leads the Centre for Regulation and Contract Law (CRCL) and has advised on modernizing warranty laws. Key roles include membership in Academia Europaea and the Turkish Science Academy.
