Ye Hu is a Professor and Conn Fellow at the C. T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. He serves as Director of Bauer College PhD Programs and holds a Ph.D. in Marketing & M.A. in Statistics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, alongside a B.E. in Economics and B.S. in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University.

His research examines dynamic consumer responses to marketing mix strategies using internet search data, with expertise spanning pricing, marketing analytics, digital marketing, and Bayesian statistical modeling. He has published in top journals including Journal of Marketing, Management Science, and Marketing Letters.
Ye Hu has received numerous accolades including the Lucile and Leroy Melcher Excellence in Research Award (2012), Journal of Advertising Research best paper award (2008), and multiple teaching honors from Purdue University and the University of Houston. His work has been recognized by the American Marketing Association and Journal of Interactive Marketing.
