Yasuko Fujita is an Adjunct Lecturer at Stony Brook University, specializing in Japanese language education. She holds an MA in Contemporary Asian and Asian American Studies and has over a decade of teaching experience at institutions such as Cornell University and Hobart and William Smith College. Her research focuses on language learner motivation, communicative teaching methodologies, intercultural communication, and Japanese linguistics. She has presented at conferences like the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL) and contributed to academic publications. Beyond academia, she has served as an educational coordinator for Youth For Understanding and on the organizing committee for the Japan Center Essay Competition at Stony Brook University.
