Yaron Lapid is an Associate Professor and Director (People) at Regent’s University London, specializing in visual strategies and image-making. He has taught diverse audiences, including Anthropology PhD students, filmmakers, and teenagers on the autistic spectrum, while also working as a film editor for Al Jazeera, BBC, and documentary/drama projects.
- Education: Post Graduate Certificate Academic Practice (University of West London, 2016), MFA Fine Art (Goldsmiths University of London, 2007), BFA (Hons) Photography and Moving-Images (Bezalel Academy of Art & Design, Jerusalem, 2003).
His research examines the social side effects of image-making, focusing on disruptions to imagery, narrative, and visual communication to reveal performative elements of daily behaviors. He has developed curricula for courses spanning Film, Photography, Journalism, Advertising, Graphic Design, and Media & Communication.
