Sabine Groenewegen is a filmmaker, artist, and editor affiliated with the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) as a guest lecturer. She holds academic roles at the MA Artist’s Film & Moving Image program at Goldsmiths, University of London, and the MA Artistic Research in and Through Cinema at the Amsterdam Film Academy, where she develops seminars. Her work emphasizes experimental film and documentary, with her debut feature Odyssey (2018) winning prestigious awards. Groenewegen’s research explores intersections of visual arts and cinema, supported by institutions like the Netherlands Film Fund and the Danish Art Foundation. She also serves as an editing consultant for audiovisual projects.
