Bernd Behr

Bernd Behr is a Senior Lecturer in Photography at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London. He has previously taught at the University of Gloucestershire and Goldsmiths, University of London. His practice combines moving image, photography, sculpture, and writing, with a focus on intersections between historical narratives, architectural sites, and visual culture.

Behr's research explores photographic indexicality, machine vision, and the built environment. Recent work investigates autonomous vehicle vision systems, blockchain-based image economies, and taxidermic imaging techniques. His publications and presentations analyze visual cultures across historical and technological contexts.
