Xiong Guopin serves as Associate Professor and Postgraduate Advisor at Southeast University's School of Architecture, Department of Urban Planning. He concurrently holds positions as Director of the Land and Space Planning and Design Research Center at Southeast University Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Innovation Institute, member of the Academic Committee of Urban and Rural Planning Implementation (Urban Planning Society of China), and Council member of the Nanjing Western Returned Scholars Association.
His research specializes in urban planning design and theory, with extensive focus on regulatory detailed planning, metropolis planning theory, and urban planning management. Key contributions include over 100 presided planning projects and more than 50 publications (7 in SCI/journal top tiers), covering urban regeneration, historical site preservation, and net-zero carbon building pathways.
Award highlights include national ministry prizes, provincial honors, and teaching innovation recognition. His project portfolio demonstrates significant impact in urban-rural planning implementation.
