Prof. Dr. Xinliang Feng holds the Chair for Molecular Functional Materials at Dresden University of Technology within the cluster of excellence cfaed (Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden). As a leading figure in advanced materials research, he directs cutting-edge work on two-dimensional materials and graphene with significant European impact.
His research spans 2D Materials, Graphene, Molecular Functional Materials, and Catalysis—particularly asymmetric catalysis on topological surfaces and in chiral materials. This focus drives major international initiatives including the Graphene 2018 Conference (650+ participants) and the AM30 Symposium celebrating Advanced Materials' 30th anniversary, highlighting his role in advancing carbon-based nanotechnology.
