Xin Liu

Dr. Xin Liu is a Research Fellow at the UQ Centre for Clinical Research, part of the University of Queensland's Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences. With over 15 years of expertise in pharmacometrics, she specializes in population pharmacokinetic (popPK) modelling and dosing simulation for clinical projects at the Centre of Research Excellence RESPOND.

• Fields of Interest: Pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics, transdermal drug delivery, nanomedicine, and antibiotic optimization in critical care.

Her recent publications focus on popPK analyses for antibiotic dosing in ICU patients, including applications for COVID-19, obesity, and post-transplant scenarios. She employs advanced imaging techniques like multiphoton microscopy and fluorescence lifetime imaging for drug disposition studies in liver diseases and nanomaterial interactions.
