Michael N. Neely

Michael N. Neely, MD, is a Professor of Pediatrics (Clinical Scholar) and Division Chief of Infectious Diseases at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. He holds board certifications in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases and serves as co-Director of the Laboratory of Applied Pharmacokinetics and Bioinformatics.

Dr. Neely completed a Master’s of Science in Clinical and Biomedical Investigations at USC in 2010. His research focuses on pediatric clinical pharmacometrics, including:

• Population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling
• Antiviral, antiretroviral, and antifungal therapy optimization
• Pharmacogenomics and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Bayesian approaches to clinical trial design

He applies computational modeling to develop individualized dosing strategies for critically ill children and HIV patients.
