His research focuses on Central European cultural and political history during the interwar period, particularly the intersections of Catholicism, internationalism, and cultural policy.
His doctoral thesis, titled The Alternative International of Central Europe. Kulturpolitik, Catholicism and Internationalism in the South German Lands, 1919–1933, is supervised by Professor Pieter M. Judson, with Glenda Sluga serving as second reader. He is affiliated with the Interwar Histories Working Group, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions on 20th-century European history.
His research interests include interwar history, modern German history, Catholicism, cultural policies, the history of internationalisms and nationalisms, imperial legacies, and religion and politics. These themes reflect a deep engagement with the political and cultural transformations in Central Europe following the collapse of empires after World War I.
Currently, no scientific awards, publications, or teaching responsibilities are listed in his public profile. As a doctoral researcher, his work contributes to broader scholarly conversations on transnational history, cultural diplomacy, and the role of religion in shaping political identities during periods of upheaval.
