Wim Teughels

Wim Teughels is a Professor at KU Leuven (Faculty of Medicine) and head of the Periodontology & Oral Microbiology research group. He holds visiting professorships at Cukurova University (Turkey) and Malaya University (Malaysia). His expertise spans periodontology, oral microbiology, and biomaterials, with a focus on probiotics, antimicrobials, and biofilm management.
