Nikola Radović

Nikola Radović serves as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Pančevo since October 2021, teaching Oral Medicine and Periodontology. He holds a PhD in Dentistry from the University of Belgrade (2019) and is a specialist in Periodontology and Oral Medicine (2018).

• PhD in Dentistry, University of Belgrade (2019) with dissertation: MicroRNA146a and microRNA-155 in gingival crevicular fluid as potential biomarkers of periodontitis in systemically healthy individuals and patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Research Focus: Dr. Radović specializes in periodontal biomarkers, particularly microRNA applications in diagnosing periodontitis among diabetic and non-diabetic populations. His expertise extends to periodontal surgery principles, implantology, and mucogingival tissue management, demonstrated through international conference presentations on surgical techniques.

Professional Engagement: Active participant in Euro Perio congresses (London 2015, Amsterdam 2018), EAO events, and specialized Straumann/Botiss implant courses. Regular attendee of European Federation of Periodontology activities including Malta Perio Master Clinic (2016) and advanced training with Prof. Sculean (2017).
