Dr. William Stanford is a Professor at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, University of Ottawa, and a Senior Scientist at The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI). He holds cross-appointments in the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology and serves as Scientific Director of the Ottawa Human Pluripotent Stem Cell and High Content Imaging core facilities. His research focuses on stem cell biology, systems genetics, and disease modeling, particularly in aging, cancer, and regenerative medicine.

- Mechanisms of refractory cancers and vascular aging
