William P. Adams, Jr.

William P. Adams, Jr., M.D., is an Associate Professor and Chief of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas. He is affiliated with Parkland Health and Hospital Systems and leads the UTSW Aesthetic Fellowship Program. Dr. Adams graduated from Princeton University and Vanderbilt University Medical School, followed by residency and fellowship training in plastic surgery research at UTSW. His work focuses on advancing breast augmentation techniques, notably pioneering the 24-hour recovery method to minimize postoperative pain and downtime. He has authored a textbook on breast augmentation and published peer-reviewed research on surgical outcomes and patient experience optimization. Dr. Adams currently serves as President of The Aesthetic Society and is recognized for reducing reoperation rates in breast surgery through standardized protocols. His practice integrates 3D imaging technology to enhance preoperative planning and patient satisfaction.
