Nicholas T. Haddock

Nicholas T. Haddock, M.D., is a Professor and Vice Chair of Business Affairs in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Specializing in breast reconstruction after cancer, aesthetic procedures, microsurgery, and extremity reconstruction, Dr. Haddock holds a finance degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed residencies at New York University Langone Medical Center and a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, he joined UT Southwestern in 2012.

His research focuses on optimizing breast reconstruction techniques, including the PAP flap and DIEP flap procedures, aiming to reduce operative times and improve patient outcomes. He has published extensively in journals like Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and serves as an Associate Editor for top plastic surgery journals.
