William M. LeoGrande is Professor of Government at American University's School of Public Affairs in Washington, DC, where he specializes in Latin American politics and U.S. foreign policy toward Latin America. Previously serving as Dean of the School of Public Affairs from 2003 to 2012, LeoGrande has established himself as one of the world's leading scholars on U.S.-Cuba relations.
With academic credentials including a PhD, MA, and BA from Syracuse University, Professor LeoGrande has received prestigious fellowships including a Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellowship and a Pew Faculty Fellow in International Affairs.
