Steven Taylor is a Professor in the Department of Government at the School of Public Affairs, American University, teaching core courses including Politics in the U.S. (GOVT-110), Metropolitan Politics (GOVT-240), and Minority Politics in the U.S. (GOVT-325) for Spring and Fall 2025 semesters. His research examines urban governance, racial/ethnic politics, and civil liberties through comparative analysis of the United States and West Africa, highlighted by his 2016 Fulbright scholarship in Ghana.
