Jordan Budd is a Professor at the Franklin Pierce School of Law, University of New Hampshire. He specializes in civil rights, constitutional law, federal courts, and civil procedure. Previously, he served as Interim Dean, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and Director of the Warren B. Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership, and Public Service. Prior to joining UNH, he was Legal Director of the ACLU of San Diego, leading litigation on issues like school desegregation, police practices, and civil liberties. He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an A.B. from Harvard College, with clerkships at the U.S. District Court and California Supreme Court.

Research interests focus on constitutional rights enforcement, civil liberties, and public interest law. His work bridges legal scholarship and practical advocacy, addressing systemic inequities in areas such as Fourth Amendment protections for marginalized groups and climate change litigation.
Awards include membership in the American Bar Foundation and a Fulbright Scholarship. He has held leadership roles with the New Hampshire Civil Liberties Union Foundation and the U.S. Civil Rights Commission.
Teaches courses in constitutional law, civil procedure, and civil rights litigation. Advises on law practice fundamentals and independent research. Active in legal reform through academic and policy engagements.
