Zebulon Vance Miletsky is Associate Professor of Africana Studies at Stony Brook University's College of Arts and Sciences, specializing in African-American history, Civil Rights, Black Power movements, and mixed race identity. His research focuses on Northern freedom movements beyond the South, particularly in Boston.
Education includes PhD in African-American Studies with History concentration from University of Massachusetts Amherst.
