William Gallagher

William Gallagher is Adjunct Professor and Director of the IP Law Center at Golden Gate University School of Law. He teaches Intellectual Property Law, Torts, and Legal Ethics, bringing practical experience from his background as a litigation partner in IP law.

Research Interests: Explores intersections of intellectual property with sociolegal studies, litigation strategies, and professional ethics. Recent work analyzes how trademark enforcement operates beyond statutory frameworks.

Publications: Authored handbook chapters on IP-sociolegal intersections and edited collections of law-and-society essays. Scholarship bridges theoretical and practical dimensions of IP enforcement.
