William Apró

William Apró is an Associate Professor of Sports Science at the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH) in Stockholm, Sweden. He holds a Doctor of Medicine in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet. His primary affiliation is with the Department of Physiology, Nutrition and Biomechanics, where he leads research on molecular mechanisms regulating skeletal muscle protein synthesis and breakdown. He has held academic roles including Assistant Professor (since 2018) and Visiting Senior Lecturer (2014–2015).
