Karl Daggfeldt

Karl Daggfeldt is a Senior Lecturer at the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH), affiliated with the Department of Physiology, Nutrition and Biomechanics, specializing in the Section for Coaching and Sport Performance Development. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Medicine from Karolinska Institutet (KI).

His research focuses on biomechanics, physiology, and sports science, with notable work on muscle mechanics and spinal torque production. He has published in areas intersecting medical imaging and athletic performance optimization.
