Will Jarvis is an Adjunct Professor of Law at George Mason University School of Law. He previously served as a prosecutor in Pittsylvania County (1992–1998), Marion County Florida (1998–2002), and Prince William County (2002–2012). Since 2012, he has held the General District Court Bench in Prince William County. His academic work emphasizes randomization methods in clinical trials and legal education. He also teaches new judges 4th Amendment Search and Seizure Law for the Virginia Supreme Court.
Education: B.A. Philosophy and B.S. Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University (1985), J.D. from George Mason University School of Law (1991). Graduate work at University of Virginia.
Research focuses on statistical methodologies in clinical trials, including adaptive randomization, CARA designs, and subgroup analysis. His work bridges biostatistics, epidemiology, and legal systems, addressing topics from biomarker thresholds to court procedural law. Recent articles emphasize optimizing clinical trial designs, handling missing data, and balancing covariates in response-adaptive frameworks.
