Chris Morehouse is an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University's Department of Criminology, Law and Society, while serving as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. He holds a B.A. in Economics (cum laude, 2011) and a J.D. (2014), both from George Mason University. His legal career includes six years in the U.S. Armed Forces, service as a prosecutor in Virginia, and trial experience as a criminal defense attorney. He interned at the Virginia Court of Appeals and later joined the Public Defender's Office.
Teaching focuses on constitutional law, criminal procedure, and legal frameworks, including courses like CRIM 423 (Civil Rights & Liberties) and CRIM 424 (Criminal Process). His research bridges legal studies and environmental policy, addressing topics like sustainable resource management, climate change impacts on ecosystems, and institutional governance of natural resources.
