Jillian Marconi is an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at George Mason University (since 2020) and Indiana University (since 2015). She holds a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law (2011), an M.S. in Criminal Justice (2008), and dual B.A. degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science (2007) from Long Island University. She is also a Contracting Officer/Team Lead with an Unlimited Warrant for the Department of Defense, Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Her academic expertise includes Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Juvenile Justice, and Serial Murder Analysis, reflected in courses like CRIM 302, CRIM 408, and CRIM 490 (Special Topics: Serial Killers & Mass Murderers). Her research interests stem from her Master’s thesis on psychological criminal profiling and her legal advocacy background.
Ms. Marconi has received multiple awards, including the Social Justice Award and Pro Bono Commitment to Community Award. Professionally, she has worked in legal practice as an assistant prosecutor, interned across criminal justice institutions, and served in federal contract negotiation roles for agencies like the Department of Defense and NIH.
