Dr. Wessel Ganzevoort is a Postdoc Researcher at Tilburg Law School's Public Law and Governance department, specializing in active citizenship, citizen science, volunteering, and environmental policy. His research focuses on biodiversity conservation, energy transition, and the intersection of public participation with societal challenges. He collaborates closely with Dutch nature organizations like Vogelbescherming Nederland and is part of the Academic Collaborative Center (ACC) on Climate and Energy, addressing climate governance with partners such as Tilburg municipality and grid operators.
