Giulia Bazzan is an Assistant Professor in Public Governance at Tilburg University's Tilburg Law School (Public Law & Governance department). She specializes in comparative public policy, focusing on governance effectiveness in food, energy, and environmental sectors. Her research explores policy implementation, regulatory designs, and sustainability transitions, particularly in agri-food systems and urban food governance. She leads the Dutch-funded 'Feeding Connections' project, investigating sustainable food governance in city networks. Notable publications include analyses of EU food safety policies, agri-environmental schemes, and regulatory frameworks. She teaches courses on European governance, public strategy, and digital transformation.
